  1. Day 1Airport arrival → Negombo

    Meet your driver at Bandaranaike International Airport, transfer to Negombo and keep the first day light with a beach or lagoon-side walk.

    Approx. 30-45 minutes · Overnight: Negombo
  2. Day 2Negombo → Kitulgala

    Drive inland to Kitulgala for a guided Kelani River rafting session. A forest walk can be added if arrival time and weather allow.

  3. Day 3Kitulgala → Kandy

    Continue into the central hills, check in near Kandy and visit Kandy Lake and the Temple of the Tooth with respectful temple clothing.

  4. Day 4Kandy → Nuwara Eliya

    Travel through tea country with a working tea-estate visit and waterfall viewpoints before reaching the cooler highland town.

  5. Day 5Nanu Oya → Ella by train

    Transfer to Nanu Oya station for the scenic rail journey to Ella. Your driver carries the main luggage by road and meets you in Ella.

  6. Day 6Ella trails and viewpoints

    Walk Little Adam's Peak early, visit Nine Arch Bridge and leave the afternoon free for Ravana Falls or a relaxed town visit.

  7. Day 7Ella → Yala / Tissamaharama

    Descend from the hills through Wellawaya toward the dry zone, stopping at selected viewpoints before an early night near the park.

  8. Day 8Yala safari → Mirissa

    Take a licensed jeep safari at the cooler end of the day, then continue along the southern coast to Mirissa after a rest and meal break.
